joy under the mistletoe

ich kam auch gestern abend nicht an den neuen stempel vorbei, denn ich hatte schon den ganzen tag eine idee für den edwin und die tilda unter dem mistelzweig. und die idee musste doch umgesetzt werden oder???

also habe ich die beiden gestempelt, dann maskiert und den ast gestempelt und den mistelzweig darüber. das patterned paper ist von basic grey und gefällt mir immer noch ausgesprochen gut. mit der passenden coloration - bei dieser karte ausschließlich mit distress ink - ergibt das ein tolles weihnachtliches flair.
die ecken des papiers habe ich nur umgeknickt und durch die 4 schleifen bleiben sie auch in form. allerdings hatte ich mal wieder keinen platz für einen titel und so ist der wieder auf einem tag, dass man herausziehen kann.

sure i couldn´t go away from my new magnolias from the clubkit because the whole day i had an idea for a card with the tilda and edwin under the mistletoe. and so i had to do it or???

so i´ve stamped the images, made a mask and stamped the branch, at last the mistletoe over the darlings. the coloration matching to the wonderful basic grey papers is made completely with distress ink. unfortunately i had no place for the title and so i stamped the sentiment on a tag again and you can it pull out besides the image.

friday sketchers 28 joy

freitagmorgen ist friday sketchers zeit und somit beginnt eine neue challenge. mumur aus frankreich ist an der reihe, einen sketch zu entwerfen. und was soll ich sagen, der sketch allein ist schon der pure wahnsinn, schaut ihn euch mal an!!!! natürlich sind auch die karten der dt-mädels wieder ganz zauberhaft. und ein tolles candy gibt es auch wieder - also schaut doch mal bei den friday sketchers vorbei.

für meine karte habe ich ein neues sarah kay motiv eingeweiht, was doch schon ein paar tage bei mir liegt. meine papierauswahl ist bei dieser karte auf die holiday treasures collection von stampin´up gefallen und ich finde es immer wieder schön, da die farben so warm und harmonisch sind. meine coloration habe ich auch dahingehend angepasst, so dass die rot- und grüntöne von den entsprechenden inks der stempelkissen abgenommen ist. zum schluss habe ich dann den swirl von magnolia an die kanten und mit stickles rot akzente auf der ganzen karte gesetzt.

for my card i´ve used one of a new sarah kay image, i´ve got it some days ago. for patterned papers i´ve chosen the brilliant papers from the holiday treasures collection from stampin´up and then i´ve made the coloration with matching stamppad ink.

magnolia clubkit winter 2008

heute kam bei mir das neue magnolia winter clubkit bei mir an und ich musste die grosse platte direkt auseinander schneiden. dieser stempel mit dem pärchen war mir sofort ins auge gestochen und ich musste ihn direkt einweihen. dazu habe ich mir einen meiner alten sketche genommen und erst mal das layout der karte erstellt. dann habe ich mich an das colorieren gemacht. als ich so dabei war, fiel mir auf, dass ich ja die kanten von tilda´s jacke mit weisser plusterfarbe gestalten könnte - gesagt, getan. dann habe ich noch die embellishments angeordnet und das schneeflocken-drahtband über die karte gewunden.

today i´ve got the new magnolia winter clubkit and i have to cut the plate directly. i´ve stamped this image with tilda & edwin and i love it!!! i have used an old sketch from me and made at first the layout. then i stamped and coloured the image and find i could use white fluffy effect for tilda´s coat. in the end i put all the embellishment and ribbon on it.
on the seceond picture you can see the whole clubkit plate, which wonderful image you will find in your mailbox or which you can pre-order on megahobby in the next days.

so langsam aber sicher sollte meine weihnachtskarten-produktion mal in die gänge kommen und so habe ich mich gestern abend direkt dran gemacht und diese karte gestempelt. dazu ist diese süsse tilda aus der herbstkollektion 2007 zu einsatz gekommen. gerade die blautöne finde ich sehr schön dazu und dann die schneeflocken. die coloration ist eine mischung aus stampin´up ink zartblau, tombow und tattered rose für das gesicht von distress ink. natürlich durften auf der karte die stickles nicht fehlen.

nun fiel mir aber der grosse schneeflocken stempel von inque boutique in die hände und ich überlegte mir, mal einen innenteil für eine karte zu gestalten. gestempelt habe ich dann mit stampin´up zartblau und habe dann noch großzügig mit stickles nachcoloriert, so dass einen tollen glitzereffekt gibt. dann habe ich nur noch die kanten mit dem su locher verziert.

now i have to make more and more christmas cards and so i have made this one in the yesterday evening. the tilda is an image from the fall collection in the last year but i find it so wonderful to snowflakes too and especially to bluetones.
then i´ve seen this wonderful big snowflake stamp from inque boutique and i had the idea to create inside too. i´ve stamped the image with bashful blue from stampin´up, put stickles on it and punched the edges with this su scallop punch.
